Brookfield Zoo has E-Cards Just in Time for Valentine’s Day
Brookfield, Ill.—This Valentine’s Day, reach out to your significant other, friends, family members, and co-workers with one of Brookfield Zoo’s no-hassle, no-cost e-cards. To download an e-card, go to
www.CZS.org/ecards.
The new e-cards, which feature Humboldt penguins, lions, giraffes, orangutans, African wild dog puppies, and California sea lions, allow the sender to share his or her personal wishes to the recipient while sharing the Chicago Zoological Society’s mission of inspiring conservation leadership. Along with a personal message, each of the e-cards has a brief description about the featured animals.
The Valentine’s Day e-card series is the first of several new collections that will be available to the public throughout 2011.
Additional holiday-themed e-cards being planned include ones for Earth Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, and winter/New Year’s greetings, as well as a year-round selection for birthdays. Like the Valentine’s Day e-cards, the others will allow one to personalize a message while including a short conservation story relating to the animal image on the card.
The Chicago Zoological Society, which manages Brookfield Zoo, inspires conservation leadership by connecting people with wildlife and nature. Open every day of the year, Brookfield Zoo is located off First Avenue between the Stevenson (I-55) and Eisenhower (I-290) expressways and is also accessible via the Tri-State Tollway (I-294), Metra commuter line, CTA, and PACE bus service.
