Dinosaurs Alive!

Dinosaurs Alive! is presented by
Dinosaurs are back at Chicago’s Brookfield Zoo through Oct. 27, 2013. See your ferocious favorites up close like the Triceratops, as well as obscure dinosaur species with unusual characteristics, like feathers. The Shantungosaurus—the largest dinosaur to walk on two legs—will stand at more than 20 feet tall and 50 feet long in Roosevelt Fountain. Zoo guests will also be able to roam a winding wooded trail with 24 like-like, life-size animatronic prehistoric creatures. Additionally, the Feathers and Fossils tent, presented by Wells Fargo, will highlight the most recent paleontological findings, indicating  that birds evolved from dinosaurs.

Be sure to stop by the Dino Dig Station, presented by JULIE, Inc., to learn how paleontologists find dinosaur bones! In addition, guests will learn how dinosaurs are relevant to today’s world and how changes in climate may have led to their extinction. So, come and personally experience close encounters at Dinosaurs Alive presented by Dominick’s – and only Chicago’s world famous Brookfield Zoo.

Dinosaurs Alive! is $5 for adults and $3 for children and seniors over 65 in addition to general zoo admission. Children 2 and under are free. Members can take advantage of half-price admission to Dinosaurs Alive!
