Morton College Externship in Early Childhood Education 

    

In partnership with Morton College located in Cicero, Illinois, the Chicago Zoological Society offers a limited number of externships in Early Childhood Education at the Hamill Family Play Zoo for students currently enrolled in course ECE 260.

Requirements for Participation
Interested students must:

  • Be referred to CZS by Morton College staff from the ECE 260 course.
  • Hold a minimum cumulative gpa of 2.5.
  • Provide proof of current tetanus immunization (within 10 years) if offered position. This is at the cost of the extern. 
  • Submit to a complete background check if offered position.
