Are you a fan of feathers? A booster of birds? Amazed by avians? Then this is the experience for you! Here is your chance to work alongside a keeper in the Free Flight exhibit at
Perching Bird House. Assist with morning routines of diet preparation, feeding, observations, and care for macaws, kingfishers, tanagers, and more.
Get started by following these 5 easy steps:
- Review the Get Ready for a Wild Encounter fact sheetto prepare for your adventure.
- Choose a date range to see when an exclusive program is available for you and/and or a friend (1 participant and optional family member or friend)
- Complete the online registration forms.
- Print your confirmation page and map.
Print and complete your program waiver form.
Aviary Adventure is a 1 hour program appropriate for animal lovers and zoo fans from age 8 to adult. Participants under the age of 18
must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian, who does not pay any additional fee. The cost is only $75.00 per member ($100.00 per nonmember), which includes a non-refundable deposit equal to 25% of program cost.

The non-paying adult accompanying a minor is counted as a participant.
