Hanging Out With the Herps is a 1-hour program appropriate for animal lovers and zoo fans from age 8 to adult. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian, who does not pay any additional fee. The cost is only $75.00 per member ($100.00 per nonmember), which includes a a non-refundable deposit equal to 25% of program cost. Program cancellations require advance notice of seven working days.

The zookeepers in Feather and Scales will guide you through the fascinating world of frogs, snakes, lizards, turtles, amphibians, and reptiles - a.k.a. the herptiles. (“Herps” to their friends.) In this program, you will help care for these amazing animals side-by-side with a zookeeper. Learn about handling reptiles, using a heat sensor to record environment data, feeding strategies, environmental enrichment, and more! Guaranteed to make you a lizard lover and frog fan."
