Want to see the rhino's artistic side? Witness art in action at Pachyderm House, and help keepers feed the animals. Spend an hour with our keepers as find out about care and enrichment the rhinos receive at Brookfield Zoo. Assist as a rhino paints your one of a kind unique piece of art that's yours to take home and help feed a hippo.

Bring a Buddy!
Cost is $200 ($250 for nonmembers) and space is tight so we close the program after one person signs up. We can accommodate up to three people, though, so when you book your session, you can choose to bring a second participant (and even a third participant) at a discounted rate ($100 off). That's just $100 for members, and $150 for nonmembers!

  2. Choose a date range to see when an exclusive program is available.
  3. Complete the online registration forms.
  4. Print your confirmation page and map.
  5. Print and complete your program waiver form.

1 -3 Participants Age 12 or Older. Ages 12-18 must be accompanied by a non-paying adult.

The maximum number of participants for this Wild Encounter is 3.

The non-paying adult accompanying a minor (s) is counted as a participant.
