Go behind the scenes of Tropic World: South America and meet some of the exhibit’s most lively residents. See the capuchin and spider monkeys, Velcro the giant anteater, and Jutal the Brazilian tapir. After meeting the animals, help the keepers prepare to release them into their exhibit for the day.

  • Participants must be 12 years old or older to participate.
  • Cost is $250.00 per member ($300.00 per nonmember).
  • Cost includes a non-refundable deposit equal to 25% of program cost.
  • Program cancellations require advance notice of seven working days.
  • Please let us know about any serious allergies prior to scheduling a program.

Space is tight for Secrets of South America. We close the program after one person signs up, but we can accommodate two people. So, when you book your session, you can choose to bring a second participant at a discounted rate---$100 off!

  2. Choose a date range to see when an exclusive program is available for you and/and or a friend (1 participant and optional family member or friend).
  3. Complete the online registration forms.
  4. Print your confirmation page.
  5. Print and complete your program waiver form.

Secrets of South America is only an hour program appropriate for animal lovers ages 12 to adult. The cost is only $250.00 per member ($300.00 per nonmember), which includes a non-refundable deposit equal to 25% of program cost. Bring along a family member or friend and pay just $400 for both of you. ($500.00 for nonmembers) That’s a savings of $100.00!
