Max Amur Tiger with Snowman at Brookfield Zoo

Max the Amur Tiger, a 2-year-old new arrival from Pittsburgh Zoo, plays with a little snowman his keepers made for him today, February 27, at Brookfield Zoo. Before being knocked down, the snowman featured meat for eyes and buttons, as well as bones for feet. The Chicago Zoological Society’s Animal Programs staff provides enrichment to the animals that encourages natural behavior by physically and mentally stimulating them with a variety of items that they may not receive on a regular basis.
