Brookfield Zoo Animals Enjoying First Major Snowfall of the Season

Brookfield, Ill.—Earlier this week, some of Brookfield Zoo’s African animals, including the giraffes, enjoyed the mild temperatures in Chicago. But, it’s the snow leopards, bison, and Amur leopards that are enjoying the more seasonal temperatures today.

The winter is a great time to see these creatures at Brookfield Zoo. In January and February on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, zoo admission is free (a parking fee still applies).
