Zoo Adventure Passport (ZAP!)

ZAP! is a free after-school and weekend program for families with children ages 3 through 12. Monthly programs at partner public libraries in Chicago and Maywood encourage families to learn about and explore the natural world. Brookfield Zoo educators focus ZAP! on the world’s diverse plants, animals, and cultures through games, crafts, field trips, and other activities. When participants attend three or more ZAP! programs, they are invited to a ZAP! Family Day at Brookfield Zoo where they can apply their ZAP! knowledge to the zoo's exhibits and enjoy the zoo with their families. Other excursions are part of the programs, and transportation is provided to and from the public library and is free to families.
