 Mud Puppies/Mud Pies

3-5 yrs

Mud, glorious mud! We love the squishy stuff and so do many animals here at the zoo. We’ll find out why it makes rhinos roll, pigs dig and elephants pack it on with their trunks. And because we already know that mud + kids = fun we will have some to get our own hands into. Come to this class prepared to get messy and have a mudtastic time playing, singing, creating and exploring the park.

Penguin Pals

Ages 3 - 5 yrs

Get a waddling start and belly slide on over to our class about these endearing birds! We’ll play, sing, create and take a stroll to visit the zoo’s bunch of black and white bird friends that “fly” underwater.

Dinosaur Discovery

Ages 3-6 yrs

Join us to learn more about dinosaurs through play, art and movement and then go out into the park on an expedition to discover where we keep our dinos…

Treats for TW

Ages 3-10 yrs

Kids aren’t the only ones that enjoy treats around Halloween-join us in making and then delivering some delightful delicacies to Tropic World residents. Please be aware that peanut products will be used in this class.

Wake up the Animals

Ages 6-10 yrs

Cock-a-doodle-do…it’s time to feed the chickens. Start with a keeper-led tour of Children’s Zoo, then head to the barn, where you will help the keepers with morning chores such as feeding the cows, delivering hay to the goats, or brushing the animals.
