Join the Crew at Brookfield Zoo


Brookfield, IL—With summer only several months away, the Chicago Zoological Society, which manages Brookfield Zoo, is gearing up for the start of its busy season by hosting two job fairs on Monday, February 9, and Monday, March 9. The fairs will be held in the zoo’s Discovery Center from noon to
6:00 p.m.

Applicants, who must be at least 16 years old, should have a friendly, fun, and energetic attitude and enjoy working in a fun and family-oriented environment. Seasonal positions with flexible hours are available for admission attendants, banquet servers, line cooks, food service attendants, merchandise attendants, Motor Safari tram tour guides, picnic attendants, warehouse staff, grounds crew, park safety officers, zookeepers, and custodial crew, to name a few.

Those interested in applying should complete the seasonal employment application form prior to attending one of the job fairs. The application may be downloaded at www.CZS.org, which also has further information about the available positions. Or applicants can call the job hotline at (708) 688-8881.

Unable to attend the job fair? Resumes can be emailed to greatjobs@BrookfieldZoo.org, or applicants can apply in person at the zoo any day of the week between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
