African Lion - Brutus
African lion Brutus and his brother Titus were born in February 2016 and came to us from Utah's Hogle Zoo where they grew up. The duo arrived at Brookfield Zoo in March 2020 and made an immediate impact with staff, members, and guests when they debuted in their Big Cats Walkway habitat soon after. Brutus is a great ambassador for his species, which is listed as “vulnerable” according to the Red List of the IUCN. Consider supporting Brutus today and be a part of his story and the story of African lions moving forward.
