African Safari Tour
Journey through the heart of Africa — right here at Brookfield Zoo Chicago! Explore lush savannahs and forest habitats while learning how we care for some of the world's most unique species. Get an insider’s look at enrichment practices and conservation programs helping animals thrive both here and in the wild.
Animals you may see on this tour include Grevy’s zebras, reticulated giraffes, Bactrian camels, black rhinoceros, nyala antelope, African painted dogs, and more!
 
Feathers, Scales, and Fins Tour
Wander through the southwest side of the zoo to explore birds, reptiles, and aquatic life up close. Learn about the history of the Zoo and how has it has grown since its opening over 90 years ago. This tour includes a look at the smaller details of the Zoo, from the Italian Renaissance architecture to the animals that fly, slither, and swim. Animals you may see on this tour include sandhill cranes, Humboldt penguins, Gila monsters, reticulated pythons, American flamingos, Andean condors, and more!

Price: $69 ($64 for members)
Duration: Approximately 1 hour
Capacity: Limited to 15 participants per tour
Ages: Must be 7+ to participate. Children ages 7–18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Accessibility: Tours are outdoors and accessible for mobility devices. 
Headsets: Please note, each participant will be provided with a headset to hear the tour guide.
