Winter Play Days

AGES: 1-3 years with adult

LOCATION: Hamill Family Play Zoo

TIME: 9:30-10:30 a.m.

PRICE: $25 per session

MEMBER PRICE: $20 per session

Enjoy this hour-long “nature play group” that helps children make friends with nature through specially-themed play days. Each session is a stand-alone play experience – sign up for one, two, or all three days! Session registration fee includes a class that takes place at the Hamill Family Play Zoo. This program takes place rain or shine, so please dress for the weather as you will be walking outdoors to get to the Play Zoo. Each registered child must be accompanied by one adult. (1:1 ratio) There is no charge for the adult to attend. Space is limited; sessions fill quickly.

Natural Materials Day

Spend this class playing with a variety of natural materials in fun and unique ways! Explore sensory bins, feel new textures, and experience nature indoors.

Session B | Thursday, December 12

Art Exploration Day

All little artists are welcome for this morning of making art out of familiar and unusual materials. Smocks will be provided, but dress to get messy!

Session C | Thursday, December 19

Winter and Arctic Animals Day

Embrace winter with a variety of cold-weather themed activities, snowy (pretend) animals, and maybe even some indoor snow play!

Can a second adult attend with my child?

Due to limited space, only one adult is able to attend with each child, but it does not need to be the same adult for each session. If you would like to substitute a different adult for the registered adult, let your Play Partner know during the first class.

Are infants/strollers allowed?

This program is designed for a child and their adult to play and learn together. Additionally, this class takes place prior to the zoo and Hamill Family Play Zoo opening. As such, unregistered siblings and/or infants should stay with another trusted adult for the duration of the class and are welcome to join you and your child once the class is over.
