Engage your student scientists in their own animal behavior study at Brookfield Zoo Chicago! Are you planning a field trip with your students to BZC during this school year? Join us for an hour of free virtual professional development to help make your class visit to the zoo an engaging day of learning and exploration. Teach your students how to design an animal behavior study, collect data, and explore their own questions about how animals spend their time at the Zoo.

Access to lesson materials, activities, and resources will be provided to participants who attend and participate in the session. 1 PD hour available.  

 
 
FIELD TRIP ENRICHMENT PD session: Faces of the Wild - inspiring conservation action through art

Nature provides inspiration to artists whose work strives to capture the beauty of our natural surroundings. Art can also increase our conservation awareness and serve as a call to action to protect our planet. Join us for a free, 1- hour virtual PD session to gain strategies and activities to build observation skills, critical thinking skills, and conservation awareness as students explore sculpture art and animals at Brookfield Zoo Chicago!
